As a child, I grew up in a big farm where I was born with a natural love for animals. I was always dreaming to become a vet to reduce animal’s pains and enhance their quality of lives. In 1996, I graduated from the veterinary school, and started working in a mixed animal practice. I was so dedicated and committed to my job that most of the time I was working 24/7 to provide emergency and critical care services aside from providing internal medicine, preventative care, and surgeries. In early 2008, I decided to enrol in MBA program because I was interested in studying management in a diverse work environment. During this time, I also worked as a consultant at Pfizer Animal Health, the biggest pharmaceutical company in the world. In the late 2009, I graduated from Ryerson University with an MBA degree. Since then, I have been working in various small animal clinics in Calgary. In addition, during 2013 to the end of 2015, I was working at Cochrane and Area Humane Society Hospital for a good cause. I am an active member of Alberta Veterinary Medical Association, Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, Calgary Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and I am a firm believer of continuous education.
I live with my wife and my son, and I am also planning to adopt a dog soon.
When not in the hospital caring for patients, you may see me running or hiking!
